The effect I see in so many solo runs: the user seems to rotate the camera to gain an advantage. It seems to make them at least jump further if not be faster. Is the effect reproducible on a controller, or does speed running require mouse and keyboard to be competitive?

I'm new to speedrunning. The split file in resources: is it to be addd to the game directory or to be used with something like live split/autosplit?
