as cheval mentioned earlier in this thread, "Wakeup%" would be a good possibility. looking forward to trying any further runs!
that would be very painful to manage. i love it. although, i'm pretty sure the only individual microgames we can reasonably speedrun would be the boss games, as they are the only ones that are 1. cut short, and 2. give you the point for it upon completion. strategic failing!
wakeup% is basically what that 8 stars thing i mentioned is before, but with a clearer name. full completion would also be nice!
possibly, but that category might rely solely on menu navigation. i reckon it'd be an alright idea, though.
what about 8 stars - 1 star from each level? might work.. somewhat okay. time ends on the collection of the last star through completion of the minigame.
Should we go for me categories, like 24 Stars (100%)? Might make for some longer runs with room for optimisation plus some luck, and also might bring some people in? Who knows. Just a suggestion!
also, are runs that take 0 damage strictly for ND runs? that means that intentionally failing on a wr pace run is the only way to get a world record on Any% when you've perfected it up to a certain point.
I guess this has been sorted by Asuka's newest run, in which they ended at the end of Dancing Pandemonium. Cheers for clearing this up!
I've noticed that the 2 current runs in Any% end at different cutscenes. Which one is the proper ending? Is it the fade to the credits (Asuka424's timing), or the wipe directly following the Dancing Pandemonium minigame (Anneurismz's timing)? Just asking so I know for the future.
if this was timed like the other guy, this'd be 15:24. is this timed incorrectly, or is it the other one?
just realised that i misunderstood the timing method, if i follow the timing for the actual run it'd be a 15:18. that's my bad.
thank you for noticing my funny, ourple guy :)
What about a typing-based one? I know essentially everything there is needed to be known about the background workings of the game, and using Windows + R -> MMFApplications and opening up the FNaSMM file, you can change the state of all of the shop collectibles, achievements, all that sort of stuff. It's surprisingly easy.
