twitch did an update that literally disabled all highlight links from a certain point backward, so its not any runners' fault that this happened, it's purely twitch's shitty team of retards, so don't be so negative in this context, perhaps. (Not saying you were, but it kinda came off that way, so im just covering ground here)
That being said, ya, telling everyone to fix the problems would definitely help quite a bit, but so would just scouring people's highlights to find the "corrected" versions, either way, don't remove any times.
doesnt matter consoles fastest anyway
I remember not being able to check IGT after completed runs on a new save file (for pc) because i didnt actually save data during the run.
Rules should be changed, but do not remove any times from the leaderboard. They were submitted during a time where the rules were different, and should be grandfathered in. Obviously video evidence is a must at this point, but to delete older runs just because they submitted in the past is quite outrageous, and simply an objectively awful decision.
Reminder turning is literally over a second of delay from input to action lol
well ive concluded that the playstation version of this game is unplayable. oh well
I'd say an Expert category would be cool, I'd always wanted to try it myself. However, again, as Yashi stated, speedruns are about speed, not challenge, foremost, so your first post just dissing speedruns because of the difficulty was rather brash and rude. Also having intermediate difficulties would be stupid and pointless. Hardest, and fastest is how it should be.
Although I do like the idea of glitchless/exploitless runs, there'd need to be a clear consensus on how and what is allowed/disallowed before runs are done of any kind. I'd say grouping Expert with glitchless for maximum challenge mode would be fine as well, since glitchless is already an arbitrary challenge addition, so might as well add it to expert as well.
I think he just means he records a session of run attempts and wants to cut just the completed run out of the bundle, in which case I'm not really sure, there's loads of programs like vegas or whatever, but I just record each attempt in a separate video file myself.
ok, but its an IL, not a sum of best segments board...
the categories dont make any sense. Any% 30 tokens and 40 tokens are the same thing (and also pointless for an IL)
The leaderboard for ILs is a complete failure
Not sure if this is entirely appropriate, but I'd like to have a site staff's opinion on this, as well as anyone else who wants to chime in. Some games have multiple releases on home consoles (PS1, PS2, N64, GC, etc) and handhelds (GB, GBA, etc) that are completely different, and entirely separate games alltogether, but they share the name for some bizarre reason. Because of that, some boards make them separate games (as I believe they should be), and some just separate categories. For separate categories, it kind of clutters things quite a bit. Say you have like 2 or 3 categories, then you need to have 4 or 6 if both share the same board, etc. Even worse when IL structures are completely different. Anyway, I'd like if these kinds of games just each had their own game page entirely, and in specifically for my case, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command should get a separation, and it's a lot easier to ask a mod to move runs and stuff over than to submit it via the normal means. If a Gameboy page could be made with Deln as a moderator, that'd be great.
I used to be a supermod for the Halo series, and now I'm not, and it seems there are just no mods at all. I'd like to request moderation of it again, or just hand it over to HlgNagato, or both of us. Whichever works.

Added, tell me if I missed any.
I don't like how arbitrary that is, honestly.
