Tbh I agree, I honestly don't know why retro made that the starting frame when the starting frame for Don't Look Down hasn't included answering questions for months now.

Recently there was an update to Gimkit that added platforming physics to Gimkit Creative. This unintentionally had the side effect of changing the physics of Don't Look Down to where speed boosts are noticeably less powerful. All runs using the old physics have been moved to a miscellaneous category. This physics change hopefully will not last since the creator of the game has confirmed that the physics change to Don't Look Down was unintentional and he's going to try his best to revert it back to normal.
