I will always remember this run for being the first notable slowest time for DLD. The true goat of DLD.
@VincenteFesalbon There is already a category for that on Don't Look Down Category Extensions. If you're wondering the absolute minimum double jumps you can beat DLD in is 48 if I remember correctly.
Am I the only one who can still see and watch his videos on speedrun.com just fine? Might be because I have editing permissions on his channel but even when signed into my own channel it still shows up on speedrun.com
There should be a message that shows up whenever you are supposed to get hit. The lasers synced are reliant on ping however so this system isn't always completely accurate, unfortunately, but it is the best we can do for these kinds of cases.
As long as they don't finish before you (or at least give you enough time to reach the ending platform before the game ends) then yeah it's legal
Unfortunately, there's no feature on speedrun.com to block individual people from speaking on forums or leaderboards. We just have to deal with having him here
I always use Ozi but atom gim (unreleased) could end up being better
Ohhhhh you thought deleting those would actually affect us?
The ones that we can literally redo within 20 minutes where you won't be able to delete them again?
I'm locking this thread since the original question being asked has been answered, and we're simply arguing about an unrelated topic at this point.
Side note: The clouds in the background of the run would also need to be lined up which is another point against it being possible to splice a DLD speedrun
@cosmonerik Although I understand your suspicions, it is almost impossible to accurately splice Don't Look Down due to the energy and in-game timer. On top of that the run uses a plugin that shows the velocity and coordinates of roblockcornerclipper's gim. All these stacked together mean that it is very unlikely to be possible to cleanly splice it. You most likely meant this for video glitching out at some points during the run, but all of those are most likely just due to video recording glitches on the part of his recording software.
@YoussefSalah Yeah he's 100% cheating thats why its verified on the main category speedrun.com leaderboard
