Setup Guide

I thought about sharing all my car setups I use to go as fast as possible and easily win every race in this game. I use the same setup for every circuit and only use different setups for each car. If you have any recommendations to make these setups even faster, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I may update the guide accordingly.

General settings:

Brake balance: in the center

Front wing: maximum

Rear wing: maximum

Ballast position: see each individual car below; the settings below are all in relation to the corresponding car's stock setting

Gears final drive: see each individual car below; the settings below are all in relation to the corresponding car's stock setting

1st to 6th gear: these settings are reversed for some reason, meaning that putting these settings towards short actually make the individual gears longer and vice versa. See each individual car below

Front tire pressure: minimum

Rear tire pressure: minimum

Front ride height: minimum

Rear ride height: minimum

Front anti-roll bar: maximum

Rear anti-roll bar: maximum

Front springs: see each individual car below; the settings below are absolute increments

Rear springs: maximum

Front camber: stock

Rear camber: stock

Front toe-in: stock

Rear toe-in: stock

Settings that are individual for each car:

Abt Audi TT-R:

Ballast position: 3 clicks towards the front

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 7/12

Noble:

Ballast position: stock

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 6/12

Quaife:

Ballast position: 5 clicks towards the front

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 7/12

BMW M3:

Ballast position: 3 clicks towards the front

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards short, 5th gear 2 clicks towards short (meaning it gets longer), 6th gear 2 clicks towards short (meaning it gets longer), 1st to 4th gear stock

Front springs: 7/12

Sintura:

Ballast position: stock

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards short, 1st to 6th gear stock

Front springs: 8/12

Panoz Esperante:

Ballast position: stock

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards short, 1st to 6th gear stock

Front springs: 5/12

Vemac:

Ballast position: 7 clicks towards the front

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards short, 1st to 6th gear stock

Front springs: 8/12

Lister Storm:

Ballast postition: stock

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards short, 1st to 6th gear stock

Front springs: 7/12 (thats my setting for the Minato City challenge for maximum consistency, you may get away with 6/12 on all other circuits)

McLaren F1:

Ballast position: 5 clicks towards the front

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards short, 1st to 6th gear stock

Front springs: 9/12

BMW V12:

Ballast position: stock

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 9/12

Panoz LMP:

Ballast positions: 6 clicks towards the REAR

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 7/12

Dome (this may be my worst setup, I just could not make it both fast and comfortable):

Ballast position: stock

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 10/12

Bentley:

Ballast position: stock

Gears: 6th gear 2 clicks towards short (meaning it gets longer), final drive stock, 1st to 5th gear stock

Front springs: 8/12

Audi R8:

Ballast position: stock

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards long, 1st to 6th gear stock

Front springs: 8/12

Pilbeam:

Ballast position: 5 clicks towards the front

Gears: all stock

Front springs: 10/12

Lister LMP:

Ballast position: 7 clicks towards the front

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards long, 6th gear 2 clicks towards short (meaning it gets longer), 1st to 5th gear stock

Front springs: 8/12

Rockingham Champ Car:

Ballast position: 20 clicks to the REAR

Gears: final drive 3 clicks towards long, 1st to 6th gear stock (if you play with manual transmission, make sure to overrev the car as it has a much better acceleration at 11000-13000 rpm than at below 11000 rpm)
