I saw on the SM3DAS speedrun forums that IL runs will not be listed there. This leads me to asking; if I did an IL run using SM3DAS, can I submit it here instead (as there would be nowhere else to post it afaik)?

This doesn't answer my question. I knew that already, I'm asking specifically about 3D All-Stars IL Runs.
From looking through the IL leaderboards I think the only difference is being able to reset the pointer. Load times seems to be instantaneous on both consoles. I'm hoping 3DAS gets a shot 'cause there are clearly some people interested in submitting given the rumbling we've been giving; ILs seem pretty populated here too, so it's not like they aren't worth it as a category.
Actually it probably won't be allowed on the IL in SMG due there being a different control scheme and also there isn't an option for changing your platform to switch, only to: Wii or Wii U. I mean you could probably still upload your times however would be considered lying. It's not worth it.
Some 3D collection specific way to track IL's would be cool though, whether that's a BIG SRC IL board or something like a spreadsheet (linked on there of course). Like not just galaxy but SM64 and Sunshine too
