Hello. I just joined because I'm interested with speedrunning a section of a game that I really like. Unfortunatly, that game is NSFW-ish.

To clarify, it does have nudity and some sex scenes, but they are not that common. Also, the route I'm taking to speedrun the section (I have made a small pratice to see how possible it is) and finish it as fast as possible does not have any of it. The closest thing I think it has is seeing a character dressing up, which shows her naked chest. However, her arm hides most of it, so I think it should be fine.

So in short, am I allowed to record a speedrun for a NSFW or just very risqué game if I don't show any of the lewd parts in my run?

If the game you're trying to run isn't already on the site, you'll need to send in a game request to add it. If that's the case, then I'm afraid that it being a NSFW game makes it very likely it'll get rejected under current rules. There's been some discussion about the topic on other threads:

You could still try sending the game request and see if it goes through, but all things considered I would keep my expectations low in this scenario. Best of luck!

PS: Just to avoid possible confusions, I'll mention that indeed there are already some NSFW games floating around on the site, but those were accepted at a time were rules were more lax (and when they changed they didn't affect games retroactively). Hopefully your game is amongst them.

Thank you. However, I realized another problem with the game I want to speedrun.

While looking a lot at the rules for NSFW games, I completely forgot about the rule that says that the game must have been played by a lot of people. While the game is somewhat popular in it's circle and people who are interested in it's content, I don't think it popular enough to have that criteria accepted.

I will still try to speedrun the section of the game, it's just that I will only upload it on Youtube instead of making a request to add the game on this site and then add my speedrun.
