California, USAthx, its one of the easier missions to run, I tried your strat on OP1M2 and trying to hit those first 2 APCs is a nightmare
Pretty sure it's a framerate thing. ik the game runs super fast for me if I don't have rivatuner on
yeah, you're not missing much with ep 2, it's long and it's a maze essentially, but it's not very fun to run, plus it's inaccessible at this time anyways unless you've had the game before the devs removed it
Thanks for posting this. Yeah, its a shame that ch 2 will forever be locked, but let's be real here. Ch 2 was even worse and there wasn't as many opportunities to break the game
Sprint Jump: Running and jumping repeatedly while releasing sprint mid jump and reengaging it upon landing. Essentially doubles your movement speed and mitigates stamina loss. You can move the mouse to somewhat control where you're going in midair
Pause Falling: Pause the game at any point when near the ground after falling from a great height to prevent getting any sort of fall damage.
Who all is in favor of this? I've been doing runs already and I believe it's feasible. I think the only challenges would be the wolf trials. Those are nuts lol. Full run category would be brutal too. I don't see many people attempting that lol

Falconer and I were talking about this the other day and I think it would be a good way to not only get new people to speedrun this game, but encourage competition as well as make level grinds all the more fun to do.
that definitely sounds interesting, though if it's submitted, I feel like there should be a video or something showcasing it because people might think of it as cheating, especially SDA, but you never know. That is interesting though. I'll probably check it out and see what I can do with it. Idk if they patched it in later versions considering that preexisting glitches still occur in those versions as well.
I will say that I heard about this glitch before, but hardly anyone replicated it, especially for a run.

Well, we now have a game page for Ghost Bear's Legacy on SDA. Hopefully this will get more people to run this game in the future.

Nice! Also, the first two trials can work with a normal campaign run since they're right at the beginning, so we could go by the first mech time, but idk if people would be willing to play the first couple of missions before attempting trial 2. Either way, I'm ok with it
We could do that for the trials, but the first one technically succeeds after taking out the first mech. The first 2 are also early game, so the player can still grind with relative ease. The third just seems weird since it can just be skipped. Idk, it's up to you whether or not you want to do a run of trial 3 or not
