As of the November 4, 2018 patch airswim mechanics have been changed to be less favorable for speedruns. Due to this, it is highly recommended to revert to the previous patch for any run other than Any% No Airswim and boss rush.

Press win+r to bring up the run menu and type in steam://nav/console to access the Steam console (Or click the link). From here, enter one of the following commands into the console depending on which operating system you are running.

Note: Only copy the portion after the colon mark (:). The operating system is not a part of the command.

Wait until the download is completed (You can check if it is still downloading from the "Downloads" page), then go to the directory printed into the Steam console. Make a copy of your current game installation (Steam/steamapps/common/Iconoclasts), then delete every file in the non-copy directory and move the newly downloaded game files to this folder. You should now be able to launch the game through Steam as normal and be on the previous patch.

For whatever reason, this download does not include music. In order to have game music, you must copy the folder Iconoclasts/data/music from a current patch install into the newly downloaded older patch.
