We got so far 4 system categories. When we got a bigger suggested game pool, we will split these. We do short to medium length races so people have time to learn the game, even those like me who only got an average of 30min free time a day.

A lot can be found with ease still. The more rare ones will be hard to find.

Many good games made me cry. Final Fantasy 7 want one of them for some reason. Maybe because of the battle directly after it.

Most use obs since it works, twitch suggests it and it is free. Some use x-split and some use other programs. It does not matter what you use, as long as it can provide the proof. Hell, you can even just point a camera/phone at your screen and upload the footage if there is no other way for you to record.

If we do some beginner friendly games/races at the start, or at times, we can get new people into speedrunning. But I can spread the word for you.

I still suggest on settling on races. Those are more fun than just a point based system..

For time suggestions, I would look at the past GYS dates which was on Saterdays at 2pm EST / 7pm GMT. I think those times would fit most people.

I did study latin for 4 months at school. It is very similar to French. Just you say what is written down in Latin, C is pronounced as K, and ancient latin has nothing to seperate words, no space between it. But that is all I know about it after all these years, beside some random words.

Aurea means nothing or is Aura in latin, not sure. Aureus is an adjective, meaning golden. Lunae is latin for moon, just as luna. Just a different pronunciation.

In english, you don't say moon golden. You say golden moon. Same in Latin.

Mine has a bit of history. First I used RPG Phantom as my name, as I was trying to make Roleplaying games and managed to easily beat every rpg I played. But many people confused the RPG part, and thought I was a FPS gamer. So I renamed myself Aurum Crescent somewhere in 2007/2008. That name was chosen since I was looking at a site for the meanings of names, and the meaning of Aurum was Glowing Dawn according that site. And crescent was chosen due my affection to the moon. Only after 3 months I remembered Aurum means gold in Latin.

I kept using that name for years. I joined a gaming group (2010), got into speedrunning and joined a good minecraft server (2016). Then I was kicked from my gaming group due one hating and spreading lies about me (19 July 2016). The people of the minecraft server helped me get over it. I went to Tera and tried to log in, seeing that my name got changed. After contacting the support, I realised that someone started to use my name. I decided to rename myself to Aureus Lunae on 27 July 2016, to leave all the bad feelings behind and start over again. It means the same as Aurum Crescent (Golden Moon), but fully in Latin.

And then there might be some people like me who are willing to give away 1 game at times under €10,- with the requirement of that people speedrun and/or race it against me/others.

@oddtom I doubt he will learn from it, even reading his statement seems to be proof of it. A shame really, but maybe in a year or 2 he learns to calm down first.

@RacingMonster, really you need to learn to step back at times. I have been attacked, my reputation have been ruined by others, and nearly lost all my friends due the actions of 1 person. I am not even going after then. When one was slandering me about my own server, spreading lies about how I am and terrorize the ones below me in the staff. He was even a coward to do that when I was on vacation, where he thought I had no internet. I stayed calm in that situation and simply stated my disappointment in him for the lies and timing. People believed him first, but after a month without me doing anything about it, just ignoring it all, they came back.

You on the other hand are trying to get your right by reaching out to as many people as you can. It makes your story less and less convincing.

This is a speedrun site, not a modding site. For that bug, go search for the correct site where it is made and ask in the right topic. They can help you better than us.

They cant enforce it here (the Netherlands), so they dont.

I still wonder if they actually changed the law in europe about downloading. It used to be downloading is never illegal, only uploading.

Still buy all games myself these days and pay for my stuff. Mostly due humble bundle and having a job. Except those old ones I cant find on a vc.
