It looks like the timing rules changed recently. I'm for the most part a fan of the change since it's far more intuitive, but the implementation seems a bit off.

In Episode 1 Black Plague, my run was updated to have Real Time off the timer I have and IGT off the end screen display. Meanwhile Hanomamoru's run has the end screen time listed for both.

This essentially dissuades people from having a timer shown, so I propose either using the length of the (relevant) part of the video to judge Real Time, or only have Real Time differ from In Game when saves are used. I'd prefer the second option, but either work.

Time rules always was a big question for me in this game meanwhile all other games counting time properly in this game i just dont undertand where did those low times come from in other episode runs.
You just give me a push to give a proper time rules and i just cant be blind about that.
So i change rules just a little bit so i can count time a lot easier and dont just sit through all runs with stopwatch witch i did just in 1st episode all difficulties.
The rules now real easy, just get a timer on screen in any possible way, bcs some ports just dont have the igt i have to add this rule.

Yea, it makes sense to update the timings to something that matches other games on this site, especially if it makes it easier to time for you lot. Just that it'd be nice if my Real Time score wasn't penalized simply for having a timer outside of the one in game. Since it looks like the In Game Time would be listed for both were it not there. I guess it doesn't technically matter since the board goes off of In Game Time, but still.

The records count only in game timer.
Real time you can have whatever you want.
Runs with saves dont count.

Ah, if saves are disallowed now then yea I guess it doesn't matter. Thanks for the clarification!

the way I see it, if you're doing a single episode no saves/loads run on crispy, there is really no reason for not recording a demo and going with the IGT as measured by crispy (or evem better dsda-doom).

Feel free to use anything that prove your record, but it should be simple to watch and understand.
I mean sometimes ppl need to understand how to watch demo(we all was there).
Some1 just do not wanna learn it and there goes video on yt or any other platform.

"In-game time" field is supposed to be maps 1-7 time.

"Real time" field is supposed to be maps 1-8 time.

Leaderboards are currently sorted by igt, there should be a way to make them sort by real time. (since nowadays nobody matters map 01-07 timing)

About run timing, if you save and load, the use of intermission screen igt would be unfair, in that case real time is used (first frame when start playing to first frame of last intermission screen I think).

This game has demo recording feature, in the original engine a complete episode can be recorded in a demo file, but just a single episode not multi-episode, so real time is used on fullgame runs.
