Hello everyone.

As per question by a few people, I have sat down to consider alpha builds and their impact on leaderboards. With a lot of the alpha changes currently focusing on things in Take and Hold, I sadly will have to disallow the use of them. There's a lot of things that can be rebalanced or changed on the fly between those builds. This leaves a chance of achieving records that could be impossible otherwise.

E.g. The alpha at this time has problems with scoring. But what if it could have an issue with how the time is tracked? Records then could alter to a final build's run, making leaderboards problematic to handle.

E.g.(2) An alpha introduces changes that drastically increase the pacing of a category, but Anton decides to rebalance this. Suddenly, the categories take 30 seconds longer than they did in the alpha, due to said changes.

All alpha scores now would be, worst case, impossible to beat until another major update to Take and Hold can change that.

Of course it's not always that a balance change is reverted. I apologize for the decision made and hope that it's not too much of an inconvenience! Thank you to everyone who's been participating in the boards so far! Keep up going fast!
