In 2023 maciolo69 discovered how to kill the dragons without first obtaining the Eye of Innos in Night of the Raven using Fire Rain. For a long while this new trick was not used in Classic since the method was inconsistent for an unknown reason. In 2024 Milgar completed the first run with a different method using Fear. To obtain the Fear scroll he first started chapter 3 to be able to buy them.

# No Flying

The history of this category is identical with the Any% category up to the 44:19 by Saradoc in 2016. The category was only split in 2023 and only in 2024 have runs been performed specifically for this category.

According to the discussion and vote on the Discord channel the following rule changes have been decided:

- The FPS must be displayed in runs at all times. You can use an external program like Dxtory or use Gothic's built-in FPS counter.
- FPS MUST be limited to a value of 240 or less.
