So, I could theoretically make a Monopoly IRL board and it would be accepted since this was accepted...

It looks like this has been here for five years. Submission rules have changed over time.

Hot take: Even though I’m fine with grandfathering boards that don’t fit current rules, Perplexus should still get the boot.

I think it's a fun oddity of old site rules, it shouldn't have been on the site in the first place but removing it today would be unfair

@TRLittleToaster Doesn't make sense for it to have series mods, though. They could keep adding more leaderboards.

That's fair

@TRLittleToaster Personally, I find it being interesting arguable. Absolutely nothing in the series is a video game. And I mean, come on. Take a look at any run. How are you supposed to even see what's going on? How is a moderator supposed to verify a run (considering that there's categories that ban skips)? How do mods even retime runs? (they don't)

It is interesting to note that there exists a "tabletop" platform on SRC: https://www.speedrun.com/games#platform=Tabletop

And it refers mostly to those Perplexus games.

Here's an example of a tabletop run. I'd have thought it'd refer to those tables with the game built into them—I've seen a Pac-Man version of that.
