There is a game I game requested, however somebody did so before me and got Super Mod on it. I wasn't particularly bothered however, and was going to just keep doing runs. However, I realized the person who game requested it had just sniped the game, and hadn't set up any categories or anything to do with the game. How can I request that I be given access to the game so I can set up categories and such?

that would be awful. absolutely horrendous. classic is already based off of so much luck so to have to get a perfect seed would suck

also @Pooply i know that post is 4 days old but just so you know, your position in the nether portal wont affect spawns. The reason top runners position themselves that way is to get a good angle when coming out of the portal to start running to the end portal

demo is basically ssg but instead of it being an incredible seed with all the stuff you need its just some random team some developer picked.

@Doggo15 it's not the speedrun community's problem people bought a game that they couldnt even run with their pc so they have to use a 3rd party modification to fix it.

@rottennoname lmfao if they older then 13 they don't need to. its legal to collect data of anybody over 13 which is why every online thing ever needs you to be 13 or older. if they're under 13, thats when they need a parent or guarden to clarify. might be different in your country tho

There are things in the game optifine alters that cannot be switched off. Optifine should be banned for all versions but some kids buy a game and then have to use an unofficial modification to even run it and then complain that "oh my god i cant run mc without optifine!!!!" if sodium didn't exist i bet optifine would be allowed

So many people keep asking this. The answer is and always will be technical stuff. It alters some technical stuff in game so it's banned. The only reason it's not banned pre 1.16 is because of the babies who will cry about not being able to run a game with their bad pc.

if bosses count towards the monsters hunted achievement then yeah.

resource packs are okay as long as they:

don't change crosshair don't lower fire dont give you xray advantages don't make ores more visible don't change gamma

please stop asking if specific packs are okay to use.
