I 100% agree with Aslan, there have been way more serious cases of runners cheating, that only got temp bans/banned from a single game, and this incident also happened years ago. From all the games I mod, I've never had an experience like this with Jaypin, so I won't be banning him in any games I mod.

How do I block this thread

I've had a situation like this happen in a game I mod, and we allowed it. Reasons being:

1. If the run would have stayed on the board, it would have been "grandfathered" in.
2. The run was a known run, that took place before the rule change, with the mod team being familiar with the run as well as yt dates checking out.
3. This was a trusted runner.

Where the case may be different:

1. This emulator was found to give advantages in runs, and all old runs with this emulator were archived or removed.
2. This was not a trusted runner.

Imo from an outsiders pov, if this emulator gave an advantage to old runs, then those runs should be archived or removed, grandfathering these times would be unfair to new runners.

I don't mind a claim either, just on twitch your audio gets muted, which isn't great for exporting to yt later.

But to back up @Garsh, it's quite hard to come by good mods now days for games with small communities, such as some of the ones Garsh mods. Not saying they don't exist, because there are great mods for small games that put a lot of effort into categories, rules, promo, etc. While 70 games may seem excessive and potentially overwhelming, I can understand why he would not want to step down from some of the games.

Google drive works quite well, if you can, do that, and keep the link to the video as public or "anyone with the link can view". Vimeo also works, but it's quite a hassle for mods to retime (as they have to download the video)

Being a mod is a lot more work than you think, and verifying runs is only a very small portion of the list of duties. If you want to just worry about verifying runs, ask to be a verifier, as it's a much easier position to manage and is usually an easier position to get (as long as you are semi-active in your community and know how to time runs properly)
