I've searched for unlocking Don of NYC requirements and found different answers ranging from 91% to 95% completion to unlock the event. anyone know how to unlock it? Plus anyone know the fastest way to get Don of NYC?

as the tittle says I want some advice and tips on speedrunning Yakuza. any consistent tricks that can be used in the series?

I might be the only one on this but can we please have a notification page on it's own that show the whole notification chronologically and with sub category selection such as WR, PB, threads. instead of them all combined into a sub window that is difficult to read through and hard distinguish without bullet points since I have numerous runs I want to follow. Or at least have a better organized notifications user interface.

you can turn off the tutorial messages that pop up on your screen during gameplay, go to options menu in the main menu to to switch it off. its useless to have it on and wastes unnecessary time for single segment/full-game runs via RTA.

easiest trick is simply use the Achile's Spear magic secondary attack (the one that gives the Spartan flame armor) to get the Minotaur stuck in a loop animation.)

I'm so tired of the amount of crap RNG in this game not even the new strats improve the older run by that much. I wasted so much time reseting on this one with no sign of improvement. this is it.

I've been using Fraps the most but the file sizes get too large. I moved to OBS for local recording but most times the files are corrupt thats hour long recording. what else is there for recording thats free and good?

for the any% w/bonuses & galactic conquest runs it would be good idea to have save file resource with 100% medals. instead of grinding hours for medals with someone like me who has fresh save file, I could simply download save file and start speedrunning immediately.

is it alright to change the settings for Friendly Fire to off or should it be default as in on?

found this glitch by accident most of the times. not sure when or how its triggered though.

I'm interested to try out speedrunning this game and all but for anyone new to speedrunning this game how would they know what is allowed and not allowed for accepted runs?! for example: Q. when do we start and end timing? Q. are there glitches that are not okay to use?

I'm trying to find skips that could save so much time in this run. I found this wall clip that might skip scripted fight in Scorpion level. (skip to 0:44):

hopefully anyone interested in speedrunning this game and know about wall clipping might find a way to the boss fight.
