I have been speedrunning Hitman's trilogy for a while now, playing silent assassin master mode, and I felt like submitting my runs to a leaderboard, but then when watching runs I found that that the top runners play the game very differently than me.

I don't like that most speedruns are about sniping specific locations, especially triggering falling objects and accidental kills. I believe a category where you have to kill the target in a way that either conceals their body when exploding them a certain way can still be fun, or mostly, hiding the body in a location as fast as possible, and this will breathe new life in a game that I was already running, but not in the way most people have been submitting.

In Hitman's challenge mode "no bodies discovered" is a common challenge, even more common than "suit only". Suit only does not change gameplay in a major way since distracting guards with specific shots works just as well most of the time, and you can often snipe these accidental deaths from miles away.

We also like the flavor. If a body is discovered, especially if there's 2 targets who are killed with something falling on their head in the span of 10 seconds, I would call 911 and they would figure out a bullet hit the cables. They could block off escape routes immediately. Preventing the body('s) from being found makes you believe they would only find it hours later.

I have a 5000 Ryzen series and 30-series graphics card, but this game just can't be ran..

I want to suggest putting the AJS runs before the Any% (No AJS) on the leaderboards.

1. Vice City speedrun page has the same thing. SSU before Non-SSU and still has just as active a non-SSU category even though SSU is run a lot less these days and still extremely difficult.

2. It is currently gathering a lot of media attention, and people looking for the records are mostly interested in these runs at present time. If they want to see times outside this category, it's still one click away.

3. These runs are currently being run more than the regular any%, so for the time being that's what people might be running the most and what they want to look up the most, and the change I'm suggesting here can be reverted at a time that is deemed appropriate.

I've become efficient at doing the Diamond heist solo, in overkill 145+ and that would be a nice category to speedrun. Apart from the RNG vault the heist is not on a timer.

I only ever owned a PC, so I have the pc version of this game. Why is it not listed and can I still run it?
