Added PS4 as a possible platform when submitting a run. So far we indeed have not counted drop in drop out as co-op. Hoyt and I did make a clause for ourselves that, when doing co-op, at least 2 characters must be "in" (Seen on the bottom) at all times. This hasn't officially been incorporated in the rules yet, as the head mod likes to be aware of rule changes.

Then we've come to a difference in views. IMO it gives an instant clear idea when looking at the board if the difficulty is present. The idea that; 'It is important enough to note the difficulty, so the runs are probably different, while the times for both runs are compareable.' An idea that would require a multiple clicks and video viewing to otherwise discern.

I'll leave it at this. Whatever the case, I'm gonna look into potentially running this game xd

You said yourself that it requires a different approach and the runs aren't comparable, so this 'gameplay change' you mention is present. I agree that any% is supposed to be whatever is fastest, but so far Brutal has the WR and multiple 'competitive' times on the leaderboard are on Brutal. It feels really weird to me to not mention this fact to viewers and potential new runners. With so few runs there's barely any reason to remove the modifier.

Am I allowed to play devils advocate, eventhough I have nothing to do with this game in particular? I'd be for adding some form of discerning factor for dificulty, either a modifier or different category. And here is my reason why: If runs on other difficulties are truly different from eachother it needs some way of telling them apart. What you have now is a leaderboard where for example 1st and 2nd place have very different runs but a close time. I'd imagine people would like to know why these 2 runs that are so close in time vary wildly in their gameplay.

After some debate I have added the optional levels to the leaderboard and changed the rules to:

Beat the level as fast as possible. No restriction on glitches, skips, and so on. CHEATS and HACKS are prohibited. Timing starts when you hit ready in the lobby. Timing ends at the end of the fade out, when the screen has gone completely black.

We have taken these 2 points as they are easily identifiable and should always be present in an attempt. The reason for not taking character movement is that its hard to pinpoint the moment the walking in animation stops and the player takes over. The player cannot do nothing for a bit because the level around them keeps playing.

Sassa I have taken the liberty of retiming one of your runs in edit and accepting it with the new time. If you'd like me to do the others as well I'll be happy to.

I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys.

Doesn't unlocking increase the card pool, thus making it harder to get a synergy?

Sorry to bud in on a game I don't run but I'd say an overwhelming amount of categories could very well turn people off. Have there been people asking for the categories? If there is no want for them there is no need to have them. Having a lot of catergories makes your page difficult to navigate. If all the categories are empty on top of that the game will seem really dead.

Maybe character runs can be a thing?

It seems to only work on most ledges in the caves and a couple in Hell. We tried all the usefull ledges in the crypts but they don't work.

Yeah thats the really old version, before it became Slayer Edition. Back then they used potions for trinkets and all weapons were skins. Sash and I tried abusing netcode a couple times already but it didnt work for us. On various jumppads we also tried cliping out of bound by spawning when the other was mid jump. This got us out of bounds several times but we didn't find any usefull routes.

You are on fire though, amazing work. I would also love to see an updated GDQ run.

HOLY CRAP we knew getting out of bounds was possible there but we didn't know you could vault with it! We coudn't make anything out of bounds work cuz of the random walls and constant sinking but the vault skips right over that in QC. I'm immediatly going back to other places to help you find more

Actually I have consistently been getting 2cycles on beast with Merlin as well. Get the first potion as a beam stack & get the potion on the left + a stack from the food there. After knocking him into intermission phase just start getting beamstacks and when he comes out you have like 4 + potion while he does his initial attack and hes gone.

I would like elf for Khamun however, since you don't get any beam stacks on Khamun. I think his ability to keep enemies at range while on the pedistal combo'd with his great mobility and decent dps will outdo the time needed to switch.

So I was training more Morak and got a 2 cycle, seems like 1 cycle might be purely luckbased. There was something odd about the 2cycle though. Morak just kinda died while having 20 %ish health left. The final cutscene played but the battlemusic was still going on, even through the credits. When I left the credits everything was fine and the game is beaten. Weird

Niice dude, I actually got a one cycle just now as well haha. When are you actually gonna start submitting your runs, you can break all the records. Gonna be training a bit more on keyboard before I submit agian I think.

Since we can't keybind 2 keys to the same attack, do we allow an external macro for faster Torrenting? Obviously not an autoclicker but we could like macro G to also "press" mouseclick? We need Mod's opinion on this too.

You might be better of by popping the elfs clones like Icyworld did in his 2 cycle kill video. The tricky part here is indeed to get the clones to attack Morak and not the sword. If I recall correctly the clones attack the closest enemy. Manipulating this proves to be tricky however, since the sword follows you around when its not attacking. I'm asuming the Chaos amulet targets randomly and does not go for the closest target?
