I can see your point im just conscious of adding too many categories and spreading the player base too thin but I could see it freshening up season mode. Theres only 4 of us on slobberknocker atm so 4 categories seems excessive.
I dont think it makes that big of a difference when you can use guys like Lesnar, Triple H, Goldberg, Taker etc. I cant see many people going to the level of maxing out a caw for slobberknocker. There should be somewhere on here that allows people to wrestle with whoever they want. The only real difference from those guys would be like a plus 2 in speed i cant see that dominating the category.
Ok iv tested out the mode a few times. I guess its more of a speedrun than regular slobberknocker is and if there is a few of you that want to run it then im happy to add it. Its been added as a subcategory in slobberknocker now.
Iv also decided to allow CAWS in slobberknocker because there probably should be a mode where you can use them. If you guys have any objections to this let me know.
My laptop is pretty old and struggles with the 1964 emulator, has anyone tried 1964 on a raspberry pi? Would it be a good way to run the game? Thanks.
@Spriter I think the issue with adding this is that there is no time limit and although we could impose one in the rules its basically the same as the mode we already have just in a different location. When a few more times get added to regular slobberknocker id be happy to include it but as there are so few players on there now i wouldnt want to dilute it. Il be adding a time myself soon so hopefully it will fill up quickly. That being said if anyone else has an opinion on it let us know.
Going by every other wrestling game with IL's iv seen you need to win, do whatever you need to win maybe you could get your opponent DQ'd but a DQ for you would be a loss. It could really do with being organized better on there, like ironman probably shouldnt be on there but its up to ef14 and holipigicowi to edit it.
Picked up a Wii to try some of these old nintendo games but not sure what to submit my runs as. Is it only not emulation if its on the original console? thanks.
Its hard to suggest something when we have no idea what kind of games you enjoy playing. I like to look what is on sale on the PS store and if it looks like something id want to play i look on here to see how long the run would be and buy it if its not super long.
At this point i think iv probably tested every move in the game, Been going for that slobberknocker record for like 2 weeks, one of the toughest runs iv done in a wrestling game. Hoping that max stat trick you posted can help with it, i thought it didnt work but il try it again.
I think taking the in game timers is probably the best compromise while keeping it accessible but its up to Sunny whatever hes comfortable with. I had no idea I had such an advantage with loads times but il happily make a few new runs.
Listen its hard to believe it but people are actually talking about me and Sunny, Who is closest to a WWF title WR. Face it your washed up.
Im not too clued up on stuff like this so I dont know how much I could add to the topic but I did my run on a PS3. I wouldnt have an issue with the leaderboard listing with loads and without loads but I can see it being off-putting for people who would want to run it.
Iv noticed that SD2 isnt on the site and im thinking of requesting it. Id probably have to do season mode for it to get accepted which is extremely long and tedious and I don't want to do it if im the only person on there. Would of course add match types and challenges similar to on here.
Anyone here interested in running it too?
My laptop isnt good enough to run and record at the same time without causing lag and recently iv been playing a lot of emulated PS1/PS2 games.
I was thinking of picking up the Nvidia TV and plugging in a capture card so my Laptop is just recording without having to handle the emulator but its a lot of money and I don't want to waste it.
Any advice or alternatives would be appreciated. Thanks.
@danger_ Geez no need to make this thread get weird
Say what you want but it takes real talent to speedrun and jerk off at the same time.
New short cut on World 3 for the teardrop in the maze. Takes a lot of practice but its a pretty decent time save. Also if you miss the jump hold left and you can land on the platform below so youl only lose around a second and can still just take the old route.
