What I did in my first run is that I just went through all of the main areas in order. So Cavernous Caves first, Dusty Desert is second, Icy Mountain third, then Spooky Forest fourth. Of course you go to the Crazy Asylum of Madness last. There isn't that much to talk about considering I have only done a couple runs, but there will be many more strategies later.
