Known bugs & glitches

As the title says, a list of glitches found and seen in DK1 and DKDD.

Wall-Clipping:

There are a couple of ways to wall clip in dungeon keeper. To be able to clip a wall it has to be a solid diagonal block. When a creature achieves a certain speed the game does not update its hitbox fast enough to prevent it from passing through the wall. To achieve this, the easiest way is to 1. Slap, 2. Speed, 3. Strafe (go forward and to the side simultaneously). Slower units cannot achieve the critical speed needed through this method. (Dragons, Bile Demons, Warlocks etc.)

To move a cluster of creatures through a wall, the "Gust" spell can be used, pushing creatures through the diagonal. Does not work on Bile Demons, as they're unaffected by gust.

Spell book capture:

If a spell book is lying on the ground, it can be collected by building then selling a Library square on it. At first it will seem as if the spell disappear, but it will reappear and will not occupy any space in the Library.

Trap teleport:

If a trap box is lying on the ground, you can put a Workshop-square right next to it, let an Imp take the box there and sell the square. It will now reappear in your main Workshop regardless of distance.

Digging neutral fortified walls:

In the original version, neutral fortified walls can be dug when you possess an Imp. For KeeperFX it is possible up until version 0.4.6u. But for 0.4.7 (and later versions) however it is allowed to go into keeperfx/fxdata/rules.cfg and add the line "BREAK_NEUTRAL_WALLS" (and/or other old bugs) after the line "PreserveClassicBugs = "

Speed-casting spells:

When you cast a spell at full power you can cast it again at full power. Left-clicking again quickly, and holding, leaves the spell fully charged. This requires some practice but significantly speeds up spell casting.

Immortality in possession:

High levels of speed in this game, break certain mechanics. When you reach the critical speed-level of Wall-clipping, you will also be un-hitable, also from hitscan such as Lightning or Drain, as long as you don't run straight into it.

If you discover any more bugs/glitches, post it on the forum and I'll add it to the list.
