Many runs don't show cheats+mods/seed code page

Or even the seed code used (or not used).

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing anyone of cheating, but if the rules specifically say:

"Cheats + Mods" are NOT allowed. Seeds are NOT allowed. (MUST SHOW they are disabled)

Then shouldn't we all apply them?

I know it can get tiring to show these 2 pages, but seriously, it's only few more clicks and it will help everyone else to make sure that the run is legit.

Again, I'm not implying we should "unverify" these run, just let's enforce these rules from now on, okay?

Before I begin I would definitely like to apologize for not being stricter on this matter especially since I have been aware of it for a while now, as well as for not following this rule myself as a mod for the game.

You are exactly right, we do have in the rules for categories where "Cheats & Mods" are not allowed that they must be shown and I as mod have not been enforcing that, the main reason (albeit not a great one) is that it is pretty easy to spot if someone has them enabled. Seeds on the other hand, are definitely easier to get away with with more of a benefit. I have had my mind on seeds for a while specifically because using a designated one per category would remove the randomness element of "getting a bad seed" during a run. To simplify what I mean, (and this will be a bit dramatic to get my point across) the only 2 categories that are really actually competitive are "Challenge%" and "Short%" because these are the only ones that require a seed so everyone is on the same playing-field, not having to hope for a fast seed. So I would really love all of your feedback on this issue and what you all think.

To address the main concern of the original post, and I will make a separate forum post about this specifically: ALL RUNS FROM HERE ON OUT WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW (IN CATEGORIES IT APPLIES TO) THAT "CHEATS & MODS ARE DISABLED. This will also apply to showing seeds once that decision has been made by the community. (This does not affect runs that have already been submitted)

This is a good idea and the rules should definately be enforced. As far as I know most people have done included the info in their runs, but making sure of it is important to prevent any potential cheating. As catagories like any% also don't allow seeds to be used it should be enforced on those as well.

As for your suggestion on including more seeds though, I think it is important to point out that seeds don't seem to give the same maps even when the same seed is used. Compare level 3 of both mine and Renusek's Challenge% runs for example, or level 3 of every Short% submission. The same seed produces different results, sometimes drastically so.
