pretty sure powerup spawns are random. i never noticed a pattern

@Wimpyfox lives are given every 20k points, so if youre avoiding the extra score balloons or skipping some platforms you'll not get that many. nice run :)

i generally dont think that 5 or 10 quota offers enough variety to justify a main category. i think 1, 2, and 4 all pose a decent challenge while still being an enjoyable length. maybe 10 as a challenge category?

that hardly seems faster than just going up the stairs for quota runs :P

we tried this bed clip and 2 of our group got a softlock LOL

since we're just posting glitches, our group has run into an instant way to get our views counted after putting the CD in the TV? unsure what causes it, but when it happens we're able to just instantly sleep. its pretty hype and if we can get a way to do it consistent then thatd save a few minutes

hi, picked this game up bc it was on sale and looked fun, but it looks like these boards aren't updated for the full release of the game - is there any plan on changing that?

if current mods aren't interested, i'm willing to take the boards as well :)

okay, discovered that steam turbo (and therefore mashing) is faster than the in-game turbo. updated the rules to allow that, because i don't really feel like making this game require you to break your hands to play

thread title - figured somewhere to discuss strategy would be nice to have, even if it's just me in here [chair emoji idk why emojis break src rn]

few things i've noticed from playing campaign:

enemy wave spawns are consistent across playthroughs, seemingly they're all just hard scripted

i generally prioritize moe, since the other enemies can be caught in the crossfire a lot of time (either flying around or flying directly towards the player, whereas moe's "attack cycle" is really frustrating and slow)

you can jump on the side of a spiked platform if you aim for the outside but its tight and generally not worth going for unless you need to save yourself

otherwise idk game hard but also fun :D

hey gamers. if ur interested in running the game, for now, we'll only allow the "Classic" playstyle under Settings -> Game

if people take interest in take it easy or true challenge (which seem to both have interesting strat differences imo) we'll add it, but im not gonna add 2 dead subcategories if people arent really running it :P

@tiktok_xander5k the general consensus is that it's intended but there's wiggle room for interpretation. for leaderboards, it's allowed
