I'm trying to show the 'mods' that it isn't that hard to run a game. Lol.
'Okay, then I would like to get these boards launched today, personally. Waiting on some more feedback from other moderators and see if they have any other suggestions or can foresee any issues first.'
Who the fuck cares what the mods think? It's the community, as I have said, that run the boards. Wanna try again?
That gives no info. I read that post. I was a part of that post. The mods don't have any say in the game, the community does. Mods are there to make sure the rules are followed. Not make them.
The DLC boards should be as follows: 1.) No accessories 2.) No training mode 3.) No oob 4.) No glitches And of course a 60/120 thing (still a meme) But that would make it as fair as can be. Truth is, the rules can't make everyone happy. And that sucks. But it has to happen. Lets no lay down and let new ideas mess with how ALL past RE games have been ran. Rules are rules. This is just my opinion but I have been running RE game for a while and I know how these things usually go. I'm not a mod but hey, fuck it. -Snow
I just used the Steam overlay thing. I never use game capture so I just went with what I knew. But it works now. Thanks guys.
When I try to window capture to show my fps, it goes to a black screen. Amy ideas on why/how to fix this?
Why is it that the only mods doing anything are Chase and Genya? There are verifiers and SUPERS. I think a purge of mods needs to happen. And get some people who know the game in the position.
Yes. If you click on any IL or full game run, there is a button that will tell you the rules.
120 is okay. And fps change or whatever you need to do to reset is basically a tactical reset imo The goal is to beat the game as fast as possible, right? I know 120 makes the AI act dumb as shit though.
The person in second place learned the game recently. There's no difference in all retrospect about kb/m and controller. If that were the case then ALL PC games that allowed the use of each would only be kb/m Skill and drive are what make a world record happen. Not what you use to play the game.
Yet you, a console players has the current SS record. And a console players has the segmented solo record. And a console team has the segmented co-op WR. I don't get what you're trying to get at.
I play on PC with a controller. Type B controls They're the same across all unless you're on kb/m And as of right now, 99% of ALL RE5 runs are done on controller. Also, kb/m isn't really any faster besides a quick turn. Any record can be broken with a controller or kb/m And what PC bug?
PC and console aren't all too different. 120 fps has many downsides such as the AI being even worse than usual. So 120 in solo is just out of the question (for me) As for co-op, the same applies. The walls catch you every chance they get. The only reason a switch would be made is for a chance at a one cycle. But you said you've done a one cycle on PS4 before so in theory it's as far as 2 different platforms could be
I agree to the solo/co-op fps change. It's the fastest way to get a run going for the chance of a one cycle. And yeah, solo should be a no go due to the igt thing you mentioned. But should it be a tactical reset to change back to 30 (or 120, whatever) after 2-3? I think it should due to the fact it's just at the start of the level and nothing has been done yet to trigger a checkpoint.
Does anyone else have a big issue launching the game on steam? Mine loads until the screen with all the info and copyright stuff and it takes me ages to figure out how to make it work again. Mainly by a lot of random clicking and going into the task manager a few times. Does anyone know how to fix this or make it easier to do? Thanks!
