also blammousernametaken, its true the devs don't care as much as they should about us, i mean, the number of Doors speedrunners has dropped a lot so the dev team needs to add some speedrunable content to floor 2. btw they said shear rooms will be made more common and shears will have uses (more the second one), so that could be good? but thats kinda only good for duos bc crouching and getting shears takes time, so its a sacrifice based on how much time those shears save. also lockpicking generators? that will be nice. overall, i hope LSPLASH and them add speedrun friendly updates for floor 2! anyway, gtg so peace out and have good RNG y'all :D

iheart_oofs if they added back legacy i could finally speedrun it bc i was really bad at the game back then and then hotel+ didn't help lol if i saw myself in 2 years almost getting sub 17 runs i would freak out so i would like to try out legacy speedrunning bc that would be cool. what if when floor 2 gets updated then you could choose a floor set like legacy and og floor 2, or post hunt and the newest mines update (not mines+ bc LSPLASH says it wont be called that but a hotel+ for the mines). that would be cool. honestly, im so excited for the upcoming doors updates bc floor 2 is a lot of fun and a new rooms? well at that point what game is better than doors (or ever was lol). anyway, to bring this back to retro mode, it would be cool if it comes back with lots of new updatewise mods.

yeah iheart_oofs if they added choosing any pre-update mode you want that would completely change speedruns bc then speedrunners could choose their mode/update and bro i could play legacy again remember og door 100 pov its so easy, anyway, retro mode, pre hunt, legacy, post hotel+ and everything would be so W

guys the devs said that mods are not coming to the Mines soon, and since thats a mod, I think Retro Mode will come with that, and LSPLASH responded on i think X that it will be a while to Floor 2 (Mines) mods.

Okay guys, I only speedrun Doors. Like, ONLY. So with the new Mines update, there have been so many Mines and Hotel tricks to use! Here are some and some people using them:

• Figure closet trick - get Figure coming in Library or Door 100 (don't think it works in Mines), and jump in the closet, then jump back out, and for 7-10 seconds, he will be frozen outside your closet, letting you run around.
• This is good if you are doing a duo Mines speedrun! First beat hotel with at least 1 vitamin, then once your in Mines, if your on PC, just do what they do in this vid (i think you need the Herb for it.): for that trick the other player should run ahead while you dupe your vitamins or whatever then voids you and you can pop the vitamins.
