Runner goes on a set shield surfing path (could be an in game quest like Selmie's spot, or one made up by community) and completes the path as fast as possible.

Rules: Must be in shield surfing state for entire time, unless gliding over gaps, or gliding to prevent falling off/taking damage. No teleporting. No major glitches. If going down a path made by the community, they must stay on the past set by the creator. Time starts when either in game timer starts, or in the case of a community path, when the A button is pressed to start shield surfing. Time ends when runner reaches the goal.

This is the Drinky-Bird Shield Surf Challenge. The Runner must start at the Hebra Peak, and surf down to the door in Kopeeki Drifts. The runner cannot go through the red lines, and the blue line suggests where the runner should go. It is named the Drinky-Bird Challenge because if fast enough, it can line up with Lemon Demon's song "Drinky-Bird."
