You can't use rift to get any item at all, rift is not allowed.

For The Rooms, there are Category Rules, that say that you aren't allowed to use the Vial, Bottle and Barrel of Starlight.

And for Category Extensions, I think they aren't allowed neither (for individual levels like Library, Electrical Room, the Nest and the Dam).

So you can only use them in Backdoor and All Floors, as you get those items during the run.

For the Hotel there is a category in Category Extensions. For the Mines there isn't because the modifiers aren't actually implemented there, using the Hotel modifier in the Mines is just a bug that they didn't fix because too lazy.

april fools 2023 could give u even worse situations than this room buddy
