Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I can't convince the game to get me through that ceiling. Am I missing something, or am I simply unskilled in the setup?
i recommend you to go "guides page" in ultrakill speedrun.com page, find WEB/ULTRADOCS and click on url, after this click on Speedrun Tech, press ctrl f and enter "arch clips"and watch,read how to do it

Hate to be another burden, but what is the strategy used to get out of bounds in 1-3? Maybe I'm just not comprehending the details correctly, but it doesn't seem to be listed in the ULTRADOCS. Sorry for the inconvenience (if there's any inconvenience).
it is the same thing, archclip, very similar to the one used in 7-1 unless you mean the one used in pre-revamp in which case it's zoomies and requires downpatching to work
