I've completed the freedom ending 3 times, and the line "Here's the door, just go" hasn't showed up. I've restarted the game several times. What is the problem?

You just have to open the door twice and then the third time it should be open. But every time you startup the game you have to do it over again.

Another thing to note, if you load a save of any playthrough before getting to that point, it will reset back to that game state. You have to go through the ending twice without loading save as well.
