How come we don't use IGT as the main timing method?

I tried sleuthing around for the IGT/Level memory values so I could see if we can use an autosplitter/load remover, but its been a bit on and off on my end on actually looking.

Yeah, a load remover could allow us to time IGT with decimals, meaning its more viable for competing as its hard to cut full seconds off of IGT

I was also looking at trying to get a loadless timer/autosplitter setup for the game to try to make IGT timing more accessible instead of timing it post-run, but I have very little coding knowledge besides basic java. But I do agree that IGT timing is the most fair for everyone and the game giving us level timers makes it easy for us to add together.

i was messing around using cheat engine, but more recent games hide their thingies better so it'll take a lot of work to do anything ;p

Yeah, I was looking around on cheat engine as well but my coding knowledge is very limited, hopefully someday there will be a load remover/autosplitter.

i made one and then deleted it way back when the game came out cause it was just me and Ezhno in it, kotti and munkii didnt seem to care ;p

I think it'd be a good place to discuss routing and such for the game.
