Hello @ggjonjon I'm glad to hear you're motivated for the category. Normally for things to be added we try and vet them in our discord server and see that there is a little bit of an interest in it before we push it through, so feel free to join in on the discussion and hopefully get more folks interested :)

A big issue with this right now is that this would highly differ from normal Individual Levels which require a .lmp file, so it'd be the only IL on any leaderboard to have an exception. One that can be made of course but it's why the category is not there right now.

Also I don't know when this screenshot was taken, as only 2 people are on that leaderboard, but it seems your run is quite out of date as runs nowadays are really quite fast https://www.speedrun.com/Shadow_Generations?h=sunset-heights-act-2-normal&x=l_dno5j2qw-n2yzwr8k So it's hard to take your 2nd point unfortunately, however don't let it discourage you from joining our discord and interacting with the community :D

I believe that adding a new vanilla level despite even without a new update could give the community something to get excited about. I understand that level replays are a vital part of the system moderators use to get IL runs submitted but as you said over a year ago I think an exception makes sense here and simple recordings would probably be enough

Tutorial Zone actually is by far the most unique IL in the game, this level contains text boxes, requires specific camera control and forces a specific character (sonic) not allowing you to play any other. these mechanics creates an interesting challenge that no other level in the game can provide

I've attached a run. Do with this what you will vehemently believe that the addition of this level to the speedrun.com leaderboards would allow for a new dimension of competition in this game. i'm crine. sorry about that outburst, anyways please consider my request. thanks twn.
