Declaring my independence from reaching this seemingly free goal set in 2022. This was not a good run! I guess keeping myself uncommitted to it for that reason helped my usual nerves going into the end. Nearly 30 seconds from best pace out of Crystal, almost 20 from best pace out of Gulp. This is about 2 weeks after getting a micro pb of a frame-perfect 30:00.000, that was cool. This will probably sit until/unless I commit to improving at Gulp, which is questionable. Even then, this was only the 4th run spread over those 2 weeks so I'll probably revisit when I need a short category again.
