The retro version of Blaze from SOR 1 was the most difficult version of the character due to its reduced attack count and the removal of the ability to quickly press forward and backward attacks, as was possible in speedruns of the first game. Instead, she now has a slow backward attack, which effectively prevents her from attacking quickly like in previous games.
