I have 1.0.0 (physcial copy)by doing smallant1's first method however, my switch makes me update the game. Is there a fix or am i forced to do 1.3.0?

@Fakality you can avoid to udapte when you go to play, pressing on "play now" instead of on "udapte" or something like that when it say to update Betwen, now when you definitely update it, the only way to got again the 1.0.0 is formating the console and you have to had the game from 1.0.0 to have the card of 1.0.0 to can play in this version, so bad if you have other games important files Only way if you doesnt want to lost that files now is to have a new switch, so f In all case, actualy, its like realy faster to play it in 1.3.0 yeah

In settings on your switch console, you have to turn auto-updates off. Also, 1.3 is the fastest version to speedrun on unless you are planning on running a category that requires a 1.0 glitch (3 captures, star%).

@04dude3 So if i speedrun Any% its fine to use 1.3? i thought u had to get it to do first moon skip and sphinx clip

@Fakality when you submit a run you put which version you are on, people can filter the any% category to only show a specific version. Currently 1.3 is the fastest version because load times are way faster, but you can submit on any version, you just have to include which version in your submission

tl;dr

all 1.0 glitches save about 50s.

1.3 digital has way faster loads which save about 55s (now optimised to save closer to a minute)

so its faster and easier as you don't have to do things like double sphynx clip or turnip clip.
