Since IL's are measured by igt you pause and the timer will stop and you can unpause and make a really hard trick look eazy to get wr or something, should we have a rule on pausing, any runs that have paused to do this that are already on the board will stay. Well, in order to get a full idea of this, we should list some of the biggest examples in which this could oversimplify a run. But since pausing doesn't really make things faster, only set-ups more consistent, that could take the fun out of a run. But, in a hypothetical situation, pausing the game were to create a faster time and we were to ban it, it would stop the overall goal of getting the fastest time. In my opinion, pausing shouldn't be banned because of that reason and that it would be hard to implement. In conclusion, this was a pointless reply that likely wasted five minutes of your time, for an issue in which I couldn't figure out a clear cut solution.

even If pausing could help in getting faster time or make a jump more easy in IL's/IW's, i don't think it should be banned from IL's/IW's because of it's helpfulness towards the platforming. jumping is jumping even with pressing the pause button to help you.
