The minimum number of Forts required to beat the game warpless is 6 (out of 14). The required ones are 1-Fort, 2-Fort, 4-Fort 2, 6-Fort 1, 6-Fort 3, and one additional Fort selected from the set {3-Fort 1, 5-Fort 2, 6-Fort 2, 7-Fort 1, 7-Fort 2, 8-Fort}. You can cloud over the 5 other Forts in the set. 3-Fort 2 can be skipped by crossing the bridge (after doing 3-6 and grabbing the cloud in 3-7), 4-Fort 1 can be skipped by using a hammer to create an alternate path, and 5-Fort 1 can be skipped by doing 5-3 instead.
