The RNG was definitely in my favor on this one, with the civs being so close and the barbarian villagers pointing me in the right direction. In retrospect, the only mistake was attacking the Russian soldier instead of having peace and waiting one more turn to build an army; this might have been sub-7 with that, but as it stands, this time should be extremely difficult to beat.
