@spidudle could you please describe this category? Do you have a run of it?
It sounds like Fast die category doesn't add any value to the leaderboard but I could be wrong.
@Seydie ok in this category you need most fast die no important how but glitchless. my video speed run fast die thx
@spidudle added the category underneath Misc. We discussed this in the server :)
Hey guys, you should be more rough on the rules of the death% category because i could easily go to the first version of the game and glitch trough an wall because you guys didn't write "glitchless" in the rules.
" I don't see why glitches aren't allowed for this category.." Because it's pointless (for me) to glitch in an non-serious category :/
oh and btw tutorials are coming in this next update normally (according to the patreon post) but it's Hubert's says so it could be... you know... fake news.
Timer should really start when you start as Chaos. Can't punish people before their reverse escape run has even began.
I have no idea if anyone will see this but maybe opening every playable SCP's rooms even in private servers !

Offline category, where you open every listed door of interest in the RA panel at least once (the checkpoints can't stay open) Rules are that you have to start off as D-Class in a fresh round. Split into random seed and set seed categories.
One option for a quirky and weird run type would be obtaining all normally spawning SCP items, random and set seeds, and then escaping the facility. The list would be something like:
-
SCP 018 (ball)
-
SCP 127 (talking gun)
-
SCP 207 (cola)
-
SCP 244 (vase)
-
SCP 268 (hat)
-
SCP 500 (pill)
-
SCP 1344 (goggles)
-
SCP 1509 (sword)
-
SCP 1576 (gramophone)
-
SCP 1853 (green juice)
-
SCP 2176 (lightbulb)
The reason why I think this would be a good category is that it would make the speedrun a lot more like other game speedruns-- having to manage multiple systems to complete the run (gotta upgrade a card in 914 to get the talking gun, getting cola first provides a boost, but also will need to get healing items later, account for all of the possible spawn locations of SCP item boxes in the facility, etc. etc.. plus, completing a run would be more rewarding and less RNG-dependent because of how long the run would be. it would be a lot more "algorithmic" in how you search rooms rather than just "run forward and to the right as fast as you can"
Of course, you wouldnt be able to hold all of these items, but maybe the rule could be obtaining all of the items at some point in your inventory. IDK, maybe a dumb idea, but I think some collectionist runs like this could add some variety beyond "escape as quick as you can".
Would also be good to verify that all of the listed SCP's actually have guaranteed spawn every round. i would only suggest including the SCP items that are guaranteed to spawn every time.
Hiya! Just a heads up that verifier applications are open for Secret Lab. If you wish to apply, you can find the form here:
