having your loopspeed be sent downwards allows you to have a straight shot towards the speedpads on the half-pipe, which saves a second or so over landing from the higher-trajectory loopspeed. it is much tighter and harder to do a low loopspeed, though, so im happy i managed to clutch up an attempt. 1:23 is possible but the bridge section sucks major donkey ass for me to care.
