Hey guys, a few days ago I discovered an OoB that I thought could potentially be used to skip both gate sequences in The Lost City and save massive time in speedruns. Today, with the help of Elajjaz (http://www.twitch.tv/Elajjaz), it was discovered that this indeed CAN be used to skip both gate sequences and save around 10/15 minutes.
Big thanks to Elajjaz for investigating this OoB with me on his stream. I think we decided to call it the "Corela Skip" :)
Awesome find man! Let's hope there're actually more skips like it throughout the rest of the run.
PC runners, at the time being, the best idea would be to downpatch the game to b1026, as load remover and autosplitter don't work on the newest patch. Runs that don't use load remover will not be manually re-timed. You can easily do that in Steam Options by right clicking on the game in the Steam L
