For multiplayer, instead of just one person submitting a run and pretty much getting all the credit for it, should we add an option where you can fill in the other participants names? Two people submitted their run on both their profiles but this also moves other people's placements down when it's just the same run? Thoughts?

I really think it would be nice. I mean if in the multiplayer section, you inform the people you want in the run to focus, the strangers are just kind of there. I like the idea of being able to have multiple participants on the leaderboard.

Idk if we should change the rules with multiplayer or not, if they aren't doing anything then they aren't really included, but if they are then they are contributing to the run therefore they should be included.

If this would get added, it would most likely be called a "Co-Op" Speedrun, which is somewhat different than Multiplayer Speedruns.

You should definitely add a way to credit the people involved in the run. It's disheartening to know that a friend could submit a run you were a part of and you would get little to no credit.

I would also like to clarify on our parts that it was not the same run - if you watch both videos, they both have different beasts. The people taking part in the speedrun were the same, but the beasts were not. In one of the videos, 3 people escaped through the same door, whereas in the other video, all 4 people escape through one door. I have my POV of the game that GlassGargoyle uploaded to prove this if necessary. :)

Yeah I agree, before I became mod I submitted a few multiplayer runs and my friends didn't get credit for it. Thanks for letting me know btw

I don't think we need a separate category, just add more player options so everyone who participated in the run can get the credit they deserve.
