Basement Cup 2025 Any% Speed Run Tournament
- The 4th edition of the Basement Cup will be held this year, 2025.
- If you are interested in participating, please leave a comment in this thread with your Discord username and join the Basement Cup 2025 Official Discord.

- There, you will be assigned a competitor role and will be able to participate in the qualifying round, in addition to having access to the entire Discord server.
- The leaderboard will be updated with the competitors' best times during the qualifying weeks.
- All participants will have to complete a qualifying round to qualify for a spot in the tournament.
- Participants must submit their best time during the qualifying period, which runs from August 10th to August 30th, 2025.
- Participants can submit their times without any limit during the qualifying period.
- The tournament leaderboard will be published and updated on Speedrun.com - Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - Category Extensions.
- The top 16 times in the standings will qualify for the "Elite A" tournament.
- While those in 17th to 32nd place will qualify for the "Elite B" tournament.
- A total of 32 participants will qualify, divided into two groups of 16. The remaining participants will be eliminated.
- Once the qualifying process is complete, the tournament's matches will be determined by their ranking in the standings.
- Example: The top 1 in "Elite A" will face the top 16 in the standings. And in "Elite B," the top 17 will face the top 32 in the standings.
- Each matchup will be in rounds of 3. In each matchup, each participant must win two matches to advance to the next round.
- The "Elite B" tournament will begin on September 10th, and once it concludes, The "Elite A" tournament will begin next week.
- This year's tournament will not be played in a single day, but will be extended to accommodate participants with different time zones and avoid inconveniences.
- The three tournament finalists will receive a prize pool, which will be collected throughout the duration of the tournament.
- Every donation made will go toward the tournament prize pool. If you're interested in contributing, you'll find a donation link on the tournament's Twitch channel and official Discord.

- Original mode - Heavy Mode Any%
- The "Basement Cup 2025" logo should be visibile on the VOD. It can be found in the Discord Server.
- GLTool is allowed.
- It is allowed to use vanilla or rebirth patch (Chinese - Taiwanese - Japanese version only)
- The VOD must have the sound of the game, without external music. Using microphone is allowed.
- Inputs, SRT and Livesplit must be displayed on the screen.
- Jill and Carlos skins are allowed.
- Runs must be streamed on Twitch, Youtube or Kick. (Offline runs are not allowed)
- Turbo-Macro are banned from the Tournament.
