Hello everyone ! I would like to make a segmented speedrun and I was looking for something to record demos. I found the SourceAutoRecord software (https://github.com/NeKzor/SourceAutoRecord/blob/master/README.md) but I don't understand how to use it. The readme is not very clear. Do you know how to use it (or something else) ? Thanks for your answers :)

Nobody knows how to make a segmented ? :(

NekZ doesn't read forums and noone else who made segmented runs for P2 bothers answering. Anyways segmented runs require a lot of experience.

What kind of segmented run is it? Unless it's one of those really obnoxious ones with a couple hundred segments or for something major you could probably manage with simple first-tick console opening and recording a new demo every time (which is what I do for my segmenteds (segmenteds have never been good in portal 2)).

If you do need specifically something more automatic, I'll ask but I don't have access to it at this moment.

I have tried to record on first-tick with a bind to a mouse button but it did'nt records most of the GlaDoS' first dialog. I'll try to make it by opening console at first-tick. And yes, it's one of those really obnoxious ones with a couple hundred segments because I like trains (and to see what is the lowest time I can do)

you can easily record on the first tick if you try to open the console when the loading for the map is about to end. like 2-3 dots away from finishing
