Hi, I started to run this game a few days ago and I'm using the slow Nido manip. I can almost always get a Nido no problem, but for some reason I think I messing up somewhere because I usually cannot catch it on my first throw. Maybe I'm doing something wrong when I get in the battle? Thanks in advance.
The Manipulation won't work every time. There is a 1/10 chance for it to go wrong, even if you do it perfectly. I don't think you are doing anything wrong. It's probably had luck. What I do is use Squirtle to deliver a tackle or two before I catch it. Sometimes I just risk it, and I fail :-(
There is no 1/10 chance for it to go wrong. It is 1/30 to not have a nidoran showing up and 1/60 for the yoloball not to work. For yoloball to work you have to clear the first textbox within a 4 frame window and throw the ball with the exact inputs from the video.
The Manipulation can't go perfect every time. I have not seen any Manipulation to work 100% of the time. Just try your best to do the Manipulation perfectly or as best as you can and you should be fine. My chances of failing may be wrong, but it doesn't work every time, even if you did it the way TehHammerShow explained it. Also, thanks for the tip. I was struggling with this Manipulation. I'll see if my attempts improve.
