I've noticed a few runs got rejected because the recording ended before the black border on the ending screen appeared, like the recording only showed the ending text. that1cl0ud says in the rejection that it's because the ending text can be there by itself for longer amount of times for different people, but that is absolute bs

if this rule stays, people will need a better device if they want to get higher on the leaderboard, because the black border will take longer to appear for them (this especially applies to mobile runners).

I should also point out that Andrewwayne verified multiple runs with the time ending when the text appeared, not when the border appeared

P.S. for the endings where a kick message appears instead of an ending screen, andrew ALSO verified those runs with the time ending when the screen goes blurry, where as cloud verifies it with the time ending when the kick message appears

the recording needs to keep going until the black border appears specifically because we use the last frame the text is visible BEFORE the black border appears to give more leniency to when the ending was actually given. sometimes it doesn't pop up at all, so it's instead when the first frame of the black border does appear.

please stop making threads about the timing rules being incorrect when you don't even understand how the timing rules actually work.

what about this:

when you get an ending, the camera shifts. if that happens, then surely the game has received instructions to give the ending. therefore, it should count as the end. if not, the text and black border have the exact same properties. so it should be when either of those pop up first, right? i dont see anything in that response that goes against it.
