More ILs! A magical run indeed!

This one isn't impossible to beat by any stretch of the imagination. I want to get better at the any% batting strats, because a 10-0 first inning Mercy Rule victory with the bare minimum of 16 plate appearances total has a better fastest possible time than a "Fast 3" 1-0 victory in the bare minimum of 19 plate appearances. The tricky thing is that optimizing the length of your offense PAs and avoiding replays and victory dances while still getting 10 runs is extremely tough. I might even try to run this against an opponent who's easier to bunt against, like Wario or DK- costs some map movement time, but might be worth it, it's tough to say. "Fast 3" has the virtue of having much simpler and easier offense, but three times as much highly random defense. Kind of a "pick your poison" thing at this point.

What I can say is that I wish the bottom of the inning had been just three plate appearances rather than four, obviously, and the batting in this run can be improved greatly. Single match runs like this one are going to involve lots of grinding for the top time down the line. For now, 17 PAs is good enough given how capricious Magical Catch Big Play is.
