What is the rule for the traffic density? +suggestion

What is the policy for the traffic density? Because for example, in the WR video of Ignorance is Blitz, there seems to be 0 traffic density while in the WR video of Hold On Tight, there is some amount of traffic.

My suggestion would be the standart for speedruns should be 0 traffic density, because traffic leaves so much room for RNG rather than driving skills.

In my opinion, it should be up to the runner which settings he/she will use. Same as you choose your controls, video settings, etc.

IMO any settings are fine, but I personally run with the default settings for each race just cause it feels more "legit" or something. Wouldn't go as far as making that the rule though. BTW, Ignorance Is Blitz on Amateur doesn't have traffic anyway, I think.

Actually the rules currently say to use default settings, but I guess my stance has changed since I wrote that. I'll make a variable for it to indicate whether runs use default settings or modified. For your Ignorance Is Blitz run I've set it to default anyway since memes aside I don't think anything you changed there affected the run's outcome

When I thought about that, I got what you mean by "legit". So yeah that's reasonable. I would go on with the default density settings on later runs as i discovered that each race has different density settings designed spesifically for it.
