I'm learning the run slowly off of the video posted in the guide section, but I'm having trouble with the second half of The Pain. How do you not get hit by the bullet bees? I have little trouble getting off the first head shot, but once I fire a second time the bee hits me. Is there something random that affects whether or not you are hit or is there specific inputs you have to do? Please help! If it matters I am playing on the Ps2 on the Subsistence version.

Pain can be....a pain, i ran on very easy so i had the EZ gun, but i found honestly just shoot him in the body as fast as u can, if you watch my run you will see what i mean, i dont know how well it would work with the normal tranq gun tho, but its worth a try :)

Afaik, there is no differences between NTSC Subsistence and HD Edition, except for the framerate (but I don't think if it is important). But, PAL and NTSC version of the PS2 are different, unlike the PS3, with its region-free games. So maybe if you're a playing a PAL version, this may make a difference, but I don't think so, because you live in the US. I hope I have helped you. (^^)

PS2 NTSC is capped at 30 FPS, while PS3 HD is 60 FPS. Like MiniOmegaKing said, I would recommend you playing on HD Edition too.
